You may already be using a cloud storage space — like Yandex Disk, Google Drive, or Dropbox — to store and share files or folders. With pencraft.space, a shared plain text file can turn into a nicely formatted web-ready note with pictures, tables, and even mathematical formulae if you like. To achieve this, add some Markdown and TeX formatting to a public plain text file, and use its shareable public link to see it on pencraft.space.
Markdown is a popular "easy-to-read, easy-to-write plain text format" (as described by its creator) that can be converted to a visually formatted HTML web document, while still remaining easily readable as an unprocessed plain text.
For more Markdown options, see for instance Markdown Guide.
TeX is a popular plain text format for scientific formulae. While most blogs, social media, and other online publishing platforms won't allow for insertion of human-readable formulae, pencraft.space will make your formulae shine.
To add custom attributes to a publication, put the following block at the very beginning of your file:
```! author: Author's Name date: yyyy-mm-dd email: email@example.com ```
This block and all attributes are optional.
All cloud storage content is received from the public APIs of Yandex Disk, Google Drive, and Dropbox. The cloud storage content is not permanently hosted at pencraft.space or authored or endorsed thereby.
